Adventurous Horseshoe Bend Engagement Session

If you are thinking about traveling to Horseshoe Bend or southern Utah with your lover…. a couples session is a MUST. Whitney and Brad’s couples session was unreal.

When Whitney first reached out to me, she and her husband, Brad, had 2 photos together, and they were only iPhone photos. You would think after being together for 7 years and married, they would have more pictures together, but that’s when I come in. Whitney told me that her and Brad were not photogenic and had no idea what they were doing. I assured her that it’s my job to make sure they are comfortable behind the camera, and I will tell them exactly what to do. (BTW, scroll down after reading this, and you decide if they are photogenic or not because I 100% think they are.)

Whitney and Brad had flown into Arizona all the way from Virginia! They wanted to do their session at horseshoe bend, but if you have been there before, it’s CROWDED. Because this was their first time taking photos together, I thought it would be best to start off with a location that was a bit more private in southern Utah as a warm-up.

We met at sunrise at one of my favorite spots in Southern Utah, about 30 minutes from Page, Arizona. We had a quick walk to the location, and that is when I started documenting their love story. Then, at sunset, we continued the couples session at Horseshoe Bend in Page, Arizona, to document the photos of Whitney’s dreams.
